SCANNING SERVICES FOR BOOKS AND NEWSPAPERS

Digibook® scanners providing excellent quality images

IDSL can scan any book, manuscript or newspaper to a very high quality. We use unique scanning technology so that books of almost any size can be scanned without resulting in damage to the book, manuscript or newspaper. We can scan books in binary (black and white), grayscale and colour and convert them to TIFF or JPEG files.

Our Digibook®  scanners are fitted with specially designed book cradles, which compensate for the thickness of book. The book is scanned on the cradle as if it is open to be read and any page curvature can be corrected using our specialist graphical software.

BOOK, NEWSPAPER AND MANUSCRIPT SCANNING

NEWSPAPER, MANUSCRIPT AND BOOK SCANNING THAT WORKS FOR YOU

As a dedicated team, IDSL listens to our client’s requirements at all times and we then meet or exceed their individual project needs. If you have a book, newspaper or manuscript that needs digitising, contact us for a free quote and consultation. Our digitised pages can be used for printing, archiving, indexing, creating virtual books or uploading for the internet. Alternatively they can just be stored somewhere safe on DVDs, CDs, data cartridges or external USB hard disc drives, to ensure you always have a copy.
